The BIG Design Markets

We had an amazing time at both Melbourne and Sydney’s ‘The Big Design Markets’. We absolutely love meeting existing customers and making new friends from the mainland. We are humbled and grateful for all of your support. It was a massive undertaking and its success exceeded all our expectations. 

What an amazing experience it was for our Indigenous staff most of whom have never travelled beyond Darwin. Such a contrast from our small Groote Eylandt home.  We had a chance to explore the bustling, vibrant city and enjoy some Christmas shopping and sightseeing.

Going to markets and events is great exposure for our small business and a wonderful way for us to embrace and share our story with other cultures.

We are extremely thankful to our sponsors and to everyone involved.

Well-done to the organisers for putting on such a stellar event, we hope to come back next year and do it all over again!
