Bush Medijina at Garma Festival

Set in a string bark forest with views to the Gulf of Carpentaria, the Garma festival is aimed at sharing knowledge and culture, and opening people’s hearts to the message of the land at Gulkula. The festival is designed to encourage the practice, preservation and maintenance of traditional dance, song, art and ceremony on Yolngu lands in Northeast Arnhem Land.

With the support of South 32, the Bush Medijina team felt privileged to be there to join in the 20th year Celebrations. We sold out of all Bush Medijina products and enjoyed swapping healing techniques and bush knowledge with our Yolngu sisters.
